Brent Rothman

Brent was born and raised in Las Vegas and is a graduate of Coronado High School. Brent received an undergraduate degree in Business from UNLV while working for the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels men’s basketball team as a student manager.

During elementary school Brent formed a special bond with one of his school teachers. This teacher became a close family friend and mentor to Brent. In 2011, this teacher was tragically struck and killed by a reckless driver while she was walking in her neighborhood. Her family retained Henness & Haight, and Brent saw first-hand exactly how caring, honest, hard-working and compassionate the attorneys at Henness & Haight were. Their pursuit of justice on behalf of Brent’s former teacher inspired him to become a lawyer so he could help others just like Henness & Haight had helped his beloved teacher’s family.

During law school, Brent worked as a sports agent representing professional basketball players, and he also helped dozens of high-school-aged basketball players from all over the world receive athletic scholarships. Brent also did pro-bono work for a couple of charities focused on helping underprivileged youth as well.

After a couple years in sports, Brent decided it was time to use his legal education to help the community that raised him. In March 2021, Brent earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law. Brent joined Henness & Haight later that Fall.

Brent was honored to work for the same firm that had helped his teacher and inspired him to pursue a law degree. During his time with the firm Brent learned the ins and outs of personal injury law and really saw how his work, and the work of Henness & Haight, helped the local community. Brent understands how hard it is for someone after an injury, and Brent works relentlessly for his clients so they can focus on healing.

In his spare time Brent enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cheering on his UNLV Runnin’ Rebels, reading, playing sports, and coaching youth basketball in the community.
