Tracie M. Jefcik has experience in all aspects of litigation, including claims, arbitration, mediation, jury and bench trials, and appellate work. Prior to joining Henness and Haight, Tracie practiced in numerous areas of law, including personal injury, insurance defense, civil and commercial litigation, complex business disputes, and transactional matters involving regulatory compliance and business and gaming licensing.
Tracie grew up in Louisiana where she graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Social Sciences. She moved to Las Vegas in 2008 when her husband became stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. Tracie then gained extensive experience in civil litigation as a legal assistant and certified paralegal prior to applying to law school to pursue her law degree.
Tracie graduated cum laude from William S. Boyd School of Law in Las Vegas, Nevada. While in law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Nevada Law Journal and also worked in connection with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada instructing individuals on the process of sealing criminal records. After her first year of law school, Tracie interned for the Honorable Joseph A. Migliozzi at the Norfolk Circuit Court in Norfolk, Virginia
Tracie enjoys spending her free time traveling and camping with her husband and their two children.
