Dallin Knecht joined Henness and Haight in April 2024. Dallin was born and raised in Northern California, but has made Nevada his home since 2014. Dallin first moved to Nevada to attend the University of Nevada, Reno, and subsequently moved to Las Vegas to attend law school at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV.
Dallin received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Reno. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, where was a member of the Moot Court team and also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jerry A. Wiese II
After passing the Nevada State Bar Exam, Dallin worked for a local insurance defense law firm, where his practice focused on defending corporations and individuals in premises and product liability cases, including cases involving catastrophic injury. Dallin’s practice was focused on litigation, representing corporations in personal injury defense matters in both State and Federal Court, including numerous depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and presenting oral argument in court.
Dallin now focuses his practice on representing injured individuals. Having previously represented the interests of insurance companies, Dallin has an understanding of how these companies operate in litigation and how they value cases. This insight allows him to achieve positive results for his clients in personal injury matters.
In his spare time, Dallin enjoys spending time with his wife (a born-and-raised Nevadan), reading, watching sports, exercising, and playing golf.
