Mr. Haight was born in Tupper Lake, New York, but has been a Las Vegas resident since 1976. He graduated from Valley High School in Las Vegas, NV in 1984.
Mr. Haight attended Dixie College in St. George, Utah on an athletic scholarship, but later transferred to University Nevada, Reno, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989.
Mark Henness was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, birthplace of Nike and home to its World Headquarters. He first came to Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he graduated with distinction with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts. He returned to Oregon where he attended law school at Willamette University College of Law, a private law school with the distinction of being the oldest law school west of the Mississippi. Mr. Henness earned his Juris Doctorate in 1995 and subsequently returned to Las Vegas to begin his law career.
Boyd Moss joined Henness and Haight in June 2002 as a law clerk and then as an Attorney in 2004. Boyd was raised in Las Vegas and has lived in the valley since 1974 graduating from Western High school in 1990. Boyd received his Associate of Science Degree from Dixie College in St. George, Utah, in 1994 and then his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Utah University, in 1997. Boyd attended UNLV’s, William S. Boyd School of Law where he was a member of the prestigious Law Review, with less than 10% of all students qualifying.
Eric J. Willoughby joined Henness & Haight as an attorney in December 2010. Mr. Willoughby was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he is a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School. He attended the University of San Diego, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following his undergraduate studies, he earned his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law and returned to Las Vegas to begin his law career.
Colin S. Bringhurst joined Henness & Haight as an attorney in Spring, 2007. Mr. Bringhurst was born in Bakersfield, California, but he grew up in Portland, Oregon. In 2001, Colin received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing from Brigham Young University. During his undergraduate studies, Colin was a student-athlete on the Track & Field team, competing in the long-jump and triple-jump. While studying at Brigham Young University, he took a two year break from his schooling to serve a mission for his church in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he became fluent in the Spanish language.
Erik Ahlander was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2005. Erik passed the Nevada State bar and became a licensed Nevada attorney in October of that year. He also holds an under-graduate degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.
Marcus A. Berg joined Henness & Haight as an attorney in January, 2009. Mr. Berg was born and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He graduated from Tulane University in 2001 with a double major in Finance and Information Systems. In 2005, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law.
Stephen M. Shulman joined Henness & Haight as an attorney in July 2011. Steve was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is a graduate of Bonanza High School. He attended the University of Redlands, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Government. While in college, he served as a Congressional intern in the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.
John C. Funk joined Henness & Haight as a litigation attorney in July, 2011. Mr. Funk grew up in rural Utah. In 1995, he graduated with highest honors receiving his associates degree from the College of Eastern Utah. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Utah University where he graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Political Science and Psychology in 1997. Mr. Funk worked several years in the mental health profession prior to law school.
